Deadline Extended for the 27th Annual Governor's Volunteer Awards

The nomination deadline for the 27th Annual Governor's Volunteer Awards has been extended to Friday, August 6. OneStar wants to create an opportunity for more Texans to nominate their dedicated friends, colleagues and co-workers for these prestigious awards.

OneStar partners annually with the Office of the Governor for GVA, which honors some of Texas' most outstanding and innovative volunteers. There are seven award categories including: Social Innovator Award, Corporate Community Impact Award, Public Innovator Award and Community Collaborator Award, Community Motivator Award, the First Lady's Rising Star Award and the Governor's Lonestar Achievement Award.

GVA winners will be honored at a ceremony on September 23rd, in Austin, Texas. The winners will celebrate with their invited guests and attendees of the Texas Nonprofit Summit, which will take place concurrently. Registration is currently open for the Texas Nonprofit Summit. Register now.
