The Social Security Administration's (SSA) new Ticket to Work Program reflects exciting regulatory changes that make the program easier to use and more profitable for organizations signing up to function as Employment Networks (ENs).

Since December 2008, SSA has been paying an average of over a million dollars a month to approved ENs that have helped beneficiaries with disabilities find and maintain jobs that move them out of poverty and towards self-supporting employment.

SSA and CESSI, the Program Manager for Recruitment and Outreach for the Ticket program, are continuing to build the network of Ticket partners by returning to Texas for another Lone Star State Ticket Express event. Our Texas partners (Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Department for Aging and Disability Services, Austin Resource Center for Independent Living and Texas Medicaid Infrastructure Grant) encourage you to join us in Austin to learn about the exciting opportunities offered by the new Ticket program and about how Social Security beneficiaries with disabilities can use different work incentives to keep their benefit checks while exploring work.
