You don't have to have a degree in accounting to be able to read and understand balance sheets and income statements. In this session, participants will learn:
- Which financial statements are required from nonprofit organizations.
- How these financial statements fit together to give nonprofit staff a total picture their organization.
- How to draw conclusions and list questions for management, based on analysis (a class exercise).
This session is free and open to the public. However, participants must still register by 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009.
