Successful organizations have great employees. Unsuccessful organizations are often mired in employee problems, costing them dollars and damaging their reputation. Participants will learn performance management strategies to ensure the people they hire become the productive employees they need to deliver their mission. In this engaging three-hour session, participants will learn how to:
- Conduct a successful interview;
- Set expectations;
- Manage performance;
- Retain good performers;
- Release unsuccessful employees and
- Establish appropriate pay.
Beth Hansen, SPHR, serves as director of finance and human resources for Dallas Auction Gallery while maintaining her consulting practice through HansenHR, Inc. Beth has a heart for nonprofits, having served on numerous boards and being a founding officer of the Foundation for Lovejoy Schools and Cross Timbers Youth Orchestra. In her consulting practice, she works with nonprofits to achieve better results through best practices in human resources.
