Are board members and funders asking about program outcomes? More than ever before, donors want proof that their money is invested wisely in programs that make a difference in people's lives. This down-to-earth, user-friendly approach to outcomes measurement will discuss:
- Implementing a practical outcomes measurement system;
- Effectively describing and differentiating between outputs, outcomes and indicators;
- Designing practical data collection methods and
- Improving programs and communicating their value through the use of outcomes.
The presentor is Jeff Stys, president of Strategic Decision Associates, a consulting practice that supports effective organizational decision making and tactical implementation. Prior to starting Strategic Decision Associates, he spent 10 years at the United Way of Greater Houston, where he focused on design and implementation of community impact projects, community research and disaster response.
