This webinar is geared strictly to representatives of community groups without nonprofit status or new nonprofits with very little or no grantseeking experience. It will focus specifically on foundation fundraising. This introduction will provide you with a step-by-step checklist approach to help you assess your organization's readiness for foundation fundraising. In this session you'll learn answers to questions such as:
- What groundwork do I have to have in place before approaching foundations for funding?
- What are the steps to obtaining incorporation and nonprofit status and where can I get some help to do so?
- What are the characteristics of successful nonprofits?
