Greenlights and the Nonprofit Financial Leadership Group present the 2011 Financial Integrity Town Hall
- When: Thursday, June 16, 2011, 11 AM-1 PM
- Where: The For the City Center
- Registration: Any nonprofit organization can send up to three staff or board members for FREE, thanks to generous support from OneStar Foundation. Registration is just $15 for all other attendees. Lunch is provided.
In the wake of recent financial scandals at nonprofit organizations, many in the Central Texas nonprofit sector have taken a more critical look at how their finances are managed. Nonprofit boards of directors, grant makers, individual donors and financial professionals are all seeking ways to ensure that the organizations they support are working to ensure financial integrity.
Now more than ever, nonprofits need to demonstrate adequate internal controls and effective fiscal oversight in order to protect their organizations and the people they serve against fraud.
