Get Results Guide to Major Gift Fundraising Brown Bag Luncheon
People generally make major gifts to organizations for two reasons: the mission and the organization's leadership. This session explores these and other critical success factors to demystify the process of major gift fundraising and help you design and execute a major gifts campaign that gets results. Participants can expect to learn:
- The definition of a major gift;
- How to position an organization for receipt of major gifts;
- To identify donors with major gift capacity;
- To develop the characteristics of a good major gift solicitor;
- Steps to take to secure the major gift;
- Why some donors say no and what to do when donors say yes and
- How to care for the needs of major donors.
Join Anne Leary, vice president, principal gifts and campaign, Parkland Foundation, for a brown bag luncheon and learn from her 16 years of experience in fund development. Please feel free to bring your own lunch. Beverages and dessert will be provided.
