This workshop will cover all legal aspects of forming a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, as well as the ethics and procedures to consider before forming an organization. It includes material on the certificates of formation, Bylaws, Minutes, and other organizational documents. The session will also cover legal and tax aspects of obtaining tax-exempt status, including an explanation of the IRS Form 1023.
