Hosted by the Baylor Institute for Studies of Religion (ISR), this interactive conference will bring together leading researchers, faith-based volunteers and organizations, clergy, lay leaders and policymakers to raise awareness of the need and value of objective evaluation research. The conference will cover how researchers and faith-based organizations can work together respectfully yet independently, and what the practical implications of research on religion and faith-based initiatives are for practitioners and policy makers. Methodologically rigorous research examining the influence of religion and faith-based efforts in addressing social problems will be displayed.

Scholarship Opportunities
OneStar Foundation: Texas Center for Social Impact is offering scholarships for the "Faith & Works: A Call for Evidence of Action" conference.
Faith-Based and Community Organizations in Texas that commit to send a board and staff member to the Faith & Works Conference may qualify for a full conference scholarship from OneStar. The scholarship will include:
- $75 registration fee for both board and staff member
- Up to $100 towards hotel room per night per person
- Up to $45 towards food and miscellaneous expenses per day per person
- Up to $250 toward travel (mileage, rental car or airfare) per person

Individuals at Faith-Based and Community Organizations in Texas that are interested in applying for a partial scholarship from OneStar may receive:
- $75 registration fee
- Up to $100 towards hotel room per night
