Marc Lee will introduce attendees to the development audit, an assessment that can help more clearly identify fundraising opportunities and challenges. A development audit examines an organization's fund development activities from top to bottom. Participants will learn what to expect in the audit process, which areas should be reviewed and whether an audit is appropriate for their organizations. They will also assess the possible cost of such an audit. Feedback from this session indicates it is general enough for those new to the concept, but may also provide insights for others in attendance. The viewing will begin promptly at 1 p.m. Space is limited,so please register in advance.
The broadcast of this recorded session will be followed by a discussion led by a United Way staff member, giving participants the chance to ask questions and offer suggestions from a local perspective.
