OneStar Foundation has partnered with the Nonprofit Resource Center to offer a full-day training called "Capital Campaigns & Social Entrepreneurship." "Capital Campaigns: Where Preparation Meets Opportunity," the morning intensive, addresses the basics of organizing and implementing capital campaigns. In the afternoon intensive, "Social Entrepreneurship: The Elements for Generating Earned Income," participants will learn the legal, regulatory and practical aspects of revenue generating enterprises in the nonprofit sector.

Training Topics

  • Determine organizational readiness for implementing Capital Campaigns.
  • Provide strategies for organizing, implementing and overcoming the challenges of Capital Campaigns
  • Understand the legal and regulatory aspects of revenue generating enterprises in the nonprofit sector.
