Are you interested in developing a business plan for your nonprofit organization?

A business plan is a written document that persuasively demonstrates that your organization is viable and can accomplish its objectives. It shows the what, when, where, why and how of your organization, and lists who will accomplish those objectives.

The three primary reasons for writing a business plan are:

  1. To aid your organization in determining the feasibility of its nonprofit service idea.
  2. To attract other people's interest in becoming involved.
  3. To provide direction to your organization once it is in operation (a road map).
