Serving on a nonprofit board is a serious job- even though it is a volunteer position. This seminar is beneficial for all board members, new or experienced. It includes all aspects of serving on a board including: developing a mission statement, strategic planning, hiring/firing and evaluating an executive director, approving a budget, policies and by-laws, fundraising, fundraising, and fundraising. This seminar also includes fiduciary and legal duties and what it mean to be a community liaison. It will motivate or help remove stagnant board members. This is also an excellent training for ED's and CEO's. This seminar is interactive.
